Accomplishments
Responsible for the design and evaluation of all existing and future LAN, WAN, VoIP, wireless and video solutions. Activities included network configuration, cost reduction, network optimization, routing design vendor management, content switching, global load balancing, QoS, IP address management and product evaluation.
Responsible for global, multi-vendor backbone connectivity and remote WAN configuration and connectivity of 1000+ Cisco routers. Additionally responsibilities included network security, satelite connectivity, LAN operations, network management and diagnostics/troubleshooting.
Responsible for the global analysis, design, implementation, configuration and management of Cisco based switched and routed networks. Technologies include security, remote access, frame-relay, network management, virtual private networking and network monitoring.
Systems consultant responsible for the pre-sales, design, implementation and configuration of international wide area networks, local area networks and network management platforms. Additional responsibilities include network troubleshooting, packet capture/analysis and Sun-based network management.
Responsible for the coordination of human and technical resources for both consultative and internal needs. Achievements include the establishment of complete corporate internet and engineering services, international wide area network connectivity and school district connectivity.
Provided technical and sales support for the design and implementation of local and wide area networks. Achievements include comprehensive certification in Bay Networks (now Nortel) technology and network management. Cisco router configuration certification as well as 3 years of active, hands on experience with Cisco, Kalpana, Adtran and Sun Microsystems product lines.
